Step Three, Inc.: Our Journey
Step Three, Inc. was founded to fill a critical gap in services in rural Oklahoma, with the goal of guiding individuals towards positive change and resilience. The name "Step Three" symbolizes the crucial moment of progress, where one overcomes obstacles and embraces new beginnings.
Our logo, a black large bear journeying towards three mountains under a rising sun, embodies courage, resilience, and the promise of renewal. Every step the big bear takes represents a commitment to a brighter, more sustainable future.
Key Milestones

2022: Incorporated as an Oklahoma nonprofit to expand access to evidence-based offender programs

January 2023: Launched substance use group services to support recovery and reduce recidivism

February 2024: Certified to provide ADSAC DUI assessments, supporting driver’s license reinstatement requirements.

April 2024: Certified by the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Victim Services Unit to deliver the 52-week Batterer Intervention Program (BIP)

January 2025: Added structured 10- and 12-week Anger Management programming

February 2026: Certified for Virtual BIP, expanding access for underserved and rural Oklahoma communities

Looking Ahead
Step Three, Inc. continues to expand access to and intervention programs across Oklahoma. With the addition of virtual BIP services, we are increasing accessibility for individuals in rural and underserved communities while maintaining program integrity and compliance with state standards.
As we look ahead, we are evaluating community needs and exploring opportunities to expand programming including additional educational and family-focused services, as funding and partnerships allow.
