An ADSAC assessment (Alcohol and Drug Evaluation) is a required one-on-one interview with a state-certified assessor in Oklahoma. It is typically ordered for individuals whose driver’s license has been suspended or revoked due to an alcohol- or drug-related offense. During the assessment, your history of substance use is reviewed to determine the appropriate recommendations—such as a 10- or 24-hour DUI class, a Victim Impact Panel, or treatment services—that must be completed to reinstate your license. In some cases, courts may also require an ADSAC assessment even if the offender has not lost their driver’s license.

An Oklahoma ADSAC assessment costs $160 for offenses on or after November 1, 2008, and $175 for offenses before that date, though some providers may add small processing or late cancellation fees. This fee is set by Oklahoma state law and covers a clinical interview with a certified assessor to determine the necessary substance abuse intervention. The fee must be paid at the time of service.
