Oklahoma’s ADSAC Legal Requirements
Under Oklahoma Statute 47-6-212.2, individuals must complete an alcohol and drug education course or substance abuse treatment program before their driver’s license can be reinstated in Oklahoma.
If you are trying to reinstate your Oklahoma driver’s license after a DUI, DWI, APC, or DUI-D, you will first need to complete an ADSAC Assessment. Based on the results of that assessment, recommendations may include one or more of the following:
✔ 10-Hour or 24-Hour ADSAC DUI Course
✔ Victim Impact Panel
✔ Substance Abuse Group Therapy
✔ Community Support Meetings (AA/NA)
✔ Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
✔ Residential Treatment
Once all ADSAC recommendations have been completed, your assessor will provide an ADSAC Red Stamp Certificate of Completion. This certificate may be used to satisfy requirements for Service Oklahoma (driver's license reinstatement), the Court, DHS, or your probation officer.
