
What is Online BIP?
Online BIP Oklahoma is the virtual version of our in-person 52-week Batterers Intervention Program. Participants attend weekly sessions through secure video meetings while completing the same court-compliant curriculum offered at our Broken Bow location. This option helps increase access for individuals who cannot easily attend in person.
Who Qualifies for Online BIP in Oklahoma?
Online BIP eligibility may apply to individuals who:

Live more than 45 miles from the nearest certified BIP program

Your occupation requires you to physically work away from the nearest certified BIP more than two weeks per month.

Have accessibility or accommodation needs, including lack of transportation that prevents consistent in-person attendance.

Eligibility must be confirmed before enrollment.

We serve eligible participants statewide, including Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Norman, Lawton, Stillwater, Edmond, Woodward, Alva, Buffalo, Cheyenne and surrounding rural Oklahoma communities.
In-Person Assessment Required
Before enrolling in Online BIP in Oklahoma, participants must complete a required in-person DVI or BIP assessment at our Broken Bow office, as mandated by OAG guidelines.
If approved for virtual participation, you may then attend weekly 52-week BIP sessions through secure live video.

All Online BIP sessions are conducted live via secure video to meet Oklahoma court and OAG requirements. Sessions must be attended in full.

Do courts accept virtual BIP in Oklahoma?
Yes. Step Three, Inc.’s Online BIP is certified by the Oklahoma Attorney General and meets court requirements when participants are approved for virtual attendance under OAG guidelines.
If I start an in-person BIP program and my circumstances change, can I switch to Online BIP?
Possibly. Participants may request a transfer to Online BIP if they meet eligibility requirements. Approval must be reviewed and confirmed prior to any transition to virtual participation.
Is there any way to complete the BIP program in less than 52 weeks?
No. Oklahoma Attorney General guidelines require a 52-week Batterer Intervention Program. The length of the program cannot be shortened.
